THE RULES OF THE DOJANG
Before entering the Dojang students must ensure their uniforms & belts are properly adjusted.
On entering the Dojang students must show respect by bowing at attention. (this must be done when exiting also)
Students must enter and exit as quickly and as quietly as possible.
There is strictly no eating or drinking allowed by students and spectators in the Dojang.
All students must show respect to their instructors and fellow students at all times no matter what belt they are.
There should be no talking during training unless the instructors request it.
When students are asked to do a task by the instructor or a senior belt i.e. line up or pair off, this must be done quickly and quietly.
When sitting in the Dojang there are only two correct ways to sit, cross-legged or kneeling, i.e. NO leaning on walls etc.
No foul language will be tolerated by students and spectators at any time.
Any student wishing to join in the class or ask a question must first come to attention and put their right-hand in the air until they are acknowledged by the instructor.
When a student is asked to step out from a class they must leave from the rear, under no circumstances must they cut across a class!
All mobile phones must be switched off before entering the Dojang. Students and spectators alike.
All jewellery must be removed before training, including all body piercing.
All the above rules apply not only to your own Dojang but also to any seminar or competition you attend with the club.
